VSP has a total of 195 posts vacant among which 21 seats are reserved for SC, 5 posts for ST, 44 posts for OBC and 125 unreserved seats. The openings are for the disciplines Metallurgy, Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical, Electronics, Civil, Ceramics and Instrumentation. The online registration of the application forms will commence from 24/04/2010 and the last date of online registration for the job opening is 10/05/2010. The last date for receiving the slip for online registration is 17/05/2010.

Candidates will be eligible if they have a minimum aggregate of 60% in Bachelor’s degree in the branches of mechanical, metallurgy, chemical, electrical, electronics, civil, instrumentation and Ceramics. For SC and ST, the aggregate will be 50%.
