Tyson Alualu

yson Alualu, Looking to add some grit to a defense that recorded an NFL worse 14 sacks last season, the Jacksonville Jaguars selected  defensive tackle Tyson Alualu with the 10th overall  pick.
Alualu was projected to go late in the first round, so many will view the selection as a reach to take the Pac 10 product so early.
The leader of California’s defense, Alualu is able to play any position on the defensive line and will add some aggressiveness to a defense that has been lacking as of late.
The Jaguars added former Green Bay Packer defensive end Aaron
Kampman in the offseason, however he is recovery from a knee injury. Yesterday, Jacksonville traded defensive end Quentin Groves, a former second round pick. In addition, former first round pick Derrick Harvey has largely been a disappointment at defensive end, with just two sacks last season.
