Lalit Modi the face of the IPL over the last 3 years, After his suspension on Sunday night BCCI appointed board vice-president Mr Chirayu Amin as interim chairman of the IPL. Mr Chirayu Amin is vice-president West Zone. IPL Governing Council, which met at an Emergent Meeting at the Cricket Center Mumbai, also gave additional work to Ratnakar Shetty, Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), BCCI, to examine the IPL records. Eleven of the 13 members of the GC attended the meeting. Farooq Abdullah did not attend the meeting because he was busy with Parliament session and Mohinder Pandove (Treasurer and Ex-officio member GC) was ill. BCCI president Shashank Manohar chaired the meeting.
